Shou sugi ban is an ancient Japanese wood-burning technique known for giving wood personality and durability. When applied to fireplace mantels or beams, shou sugi ban provides a surprisingly timeless look! Our shou sugi ban pieces are unlike anything else available on the market today.
Our custom L-shaped mantels are made to fit your L-shaped fireplace. These can be left rustic and rugged, or carefully cut and resanded in place to appear as one continuous block of wood.
